
Jan Rouven just saw another part of their life disappear on nearly $1 million from the sale of his home in Las Vegas’s Centennial Hills neighborhood monday.
Disgraced Strip magician Jan Rouven surrendered $975,300 to a federal court in Las Vegas on Monday, to pay for fines and target restitution as an element of his plea bargain in a child pornography case.
The former magician, who had headlined the ‘New Illusions’ show at the Tropicana for approximately 2 yrs before being arrested on child pornography charges in 2016, turned over most of the proceeds from the sale of his house to a court that is federal.
The 39-year-old German-born illusionist pleaded bad in November to three felony counts of possession, receipt and distribution of child pornography.
The monies collected will go towards paying fines, court fees, and victim restitution monday.
Overwhelming Evidence
In 2014, FBI agents in Buffalo, New York, infiltrated an online network of people child that is trading, and snared Rouven in the dragnet.
Rouven, whose birth title is Jan Rouven Fuechtener, was recognized as a suspect using the aliases Lars45 and LarsUSA22, which was enough for authorities to obtain a warrant to search their vegas house.
